Overview

Our client, Global Retail Recruitment, is a small but far-reaching recruitment and executive search agency which supports clients in Retail both locally and across the globe. They wanted us to come up with an infographic design which sheds light on their core principles: service ethics, integrity, communication, and honesty.

Since the target audience was small regional players in the UK and big companies across the globe, we carefully used fonts and a colour scheme which was consistent with our client’s branding, and also something their target audience could relate to right away.

Retail brands were the main target market, and so, the design and tone of voice used in the infographic instantly struck the right chord with our client and their customers. Within weeks of the infographic being published across the client’s social media channels, enquiries from both employers and employees went up by more than 32%.

The straightforward design and ‘to the point’ voice in the infographic saw our client increase their business by more than 25% in a 6-month period.

The Work

Businesses and professionals in Retail are very busy people with limited attention spans. Our client wanted us to capture the essence of what Global Retail Recruitment is and what it can do for both companies and job seekers in Retail.

Our client also wanted to be seen as a disruptor in the world of Retail recruitment, where their focus is always on quality, communication, and service – and not primarily something that’s sales-led.

  • The green text boxes against the white background not only promote a sense of integrity and trustworthiness but also highlight our client’s approach towards sustainability.

  • We handpicked fonts that people in Retail – everyone from CEOs, Directors, and Recruiters to Job Seekers, Team Leaders, and Managers – can easily read and take action after understanding the value proposition.

  • Look closely and you’ll observe that the customer testimonial section uses two tones of green and large quotes to reaffirm our client’s expertise in Retail recruitment and how they have helped businesses and professionals in the past.

  • We also used hand-crafted and “friendly” icons as well as images to promote our client as someone who is friendly, professional, approachable, and personable.

  • From the headline and company introduction in the infographic to the value proposition and contact information at the footer, every font, typeface, icon, and image has been handpicked to showcase our client’s personality and character, and what kind of impact their business can have on companies and professionals from around the world.

  • We selectively used larger fonts to highlight certain points, which act as a subtle call-to-action in itself, further sparking the reader’s interest and enticing them to navigate further down to the main call-to-action.
